"I have had the honor of having Anna as my Nurse Coach!  It was a totally life changing experience for me! Her deep listening, powerful questions and observations, while holding space for me to be completely vulnerable and authentic was a sheer gift I have had many counselors in my life but no comparison to the depth that Anna and I were able to co-create together! By far, I feel that I have climbed Mt. Everest with Anna conquering my fears and facing life with so much power, freedom and self-expression.  It was an epic experience! If you are looking to add value and are ready for a change in your life, I would strongly encourage you to Coach with Anna! She is an amazing Nurse Coach!"

What was going on in your life before you started working with me, and how have our coaching sessions positively impacted your life and overall wellbeing?

"Before I started working with Anna, my life was at a standstill. I felt stuck, waiting for life to happen and waiting for circumstances to change in order for me to take charge. Anna helped me realize that I didn’t have to wait; I took charge now and made changes in my life the way I wanted to— now. I feel so much stronger and in control of my own life, and more hopeful about my own future and my ability to navigate it. Our sessions helped me become my own friend, and helped me join Anna in my rooting corner. :)"

"Anna did an incredible job creating a safe space that fostered trust and vulnerable honesty. Because of this, I knew with confidence that I could come as my authentic self in whatever state I was in, and share openly knowing I was truly heard and seen. She asked excellent questions, intentionally listened to my responses, and never rushed me. Her non-judgemental presence was a gift throughout. I can't tell you how much it meant to have someone see and acknowledge the work I was doing (baby steps and all). Anna brought attention to things that I would have easily glossed over without even recognizing them, and celebrated them with me while cheering me on. I left each session feeling uplifted and empowered.

I loved that we got to practice breathing exercises at the start of our sessions. She listened to what kind I wanted and what benefited me, and then facilitated actually doing them together. This helped not only to ground me into the moment at the start of our time together, but also to begin building muscle memory and making them tools in my own life toolbox which was a goal of mine. It was also helpful to break big goals down into smaller steps, and to see and celebrate them all as I achieved them."

Who would you recommend my coaching to?

"Working with Anna helped me step outside my comfort zone. I was at a point in my life where I understood that I did not want to be living my life on autopilot, merely trying to survive each day. I understood that I'd have to do things that I've never done before in order to start feeling better about myself and my life. The first few sessions felt a little uncomfortable, but as we continued to meet, I allowed myself to feel and embrace the uncomfortability and recognize it as a mechanism for change in myself. Much like many aspects of life, the benefits of nurse coaching truly depend on what you put into it -- what you get out of it depends on the effort you put into it.

I would recommend Anna's coaching to anyone wanting to initiate change in their own life -- to anyone who feels stagnant or stuck and doesn't know how to get started with the changes they want to make, to anyone who wants to take accountability for their life and move forward with positive growth."

"During a visit with my sister I was voicing frustration that I was tired of how things were going, most specifically with my weight. My sister had just seen a Facebook post from Anna and told me how she was a student nurse coach looking for practice clients. I’ve never heard of a nurse coach but thought I would volunteer hoping Anna would have the magic answer to fix me and all my problems would go away.

I learned pretty quick that Anna wasn’t practicing magic and it would require work on my part. She helped me see that my weight was just a tree in my way and I have to pull up the roots in order to remove the tree. I tend to go into things wanting a quick fix and Anna gently and compassionately taught me that the quick fixes weren’t working and I should move forward with baby steps.

I felt that Anna often understood me better than I understand myself. She was easy to talk to and gave the sense that she genuinely cared. She helped me start the process of caring for myself and right away I started experiencing better sleep. I realized that I needed to keep going with these baby steps after our practice sessions were over and with Anna’s support I searched for and found a therapist to work with after our sessions end.

Anna is so genuinely loving and would benefit anyone that struggles with insecurities and self loathing as she sees the value and worth of others."
